Why I'm shorting the hell out of Apple

What I see and you didn't

You may be surprised to see this post. But bear with me and I think you will slowly and then suddenly understand the reason.

Huge China Risk

China is Apple’s most important market. Almost all manufacturing is done there and for sales it’s the second-biggest market after the USA.

But Apple's relationship with China has completely turned sour. The Chinese government has stapled internet companies to the CCP floor. And Apple will be next.

On top of that, Chinese smartphone manufacturers like Huawei and Xiaomi have been kicking Apple’s ass in China. Apple will lose its market-leading position in the smartphone market, first in China and Europe, then in Latin America. Only the USA will be spared, but the US only accounts for 40% of Apple’s revenue.

The political tensions between the US and China worsened by the situation in Ukraine. China will attack Taiwan and disrupt Apple’s supply chain and production completely.

The MAIN reason

The main reason to short Apple? It’s April Fool’s Day.

I never short stocks. It’s a short-term strategy and I’m a long-term investor. There’s capped upside and unlimited downside.
